Mom needed a few minutes at the post office
Ice this morning to get some cards mailed so I took advantage of the opportunity to take a picture of the truck that carries our mail during the week. (On weekends there is always/usually a sub.) Our mail has been coming to us in this old truck for as long as I can remember.
Dusty doesn't mind the mail man, or the ups/fed-ex couriers, the mail man carries a bag of dog biscuits well within arms reach...
Of course our mail box is far enough away from the house that Dusty only goes up there when she's on a leash with me tagging along. :-)
This old truck has a little rust in places and even a hole in the fender above the front left tire. But it's tried and true and to me, that's better than untested and new.
I appreciate being able to rely on something/one and I cherish the respect and feeling of being relied on.
